When I turn the computer on, the computer makes no sound, nothing lights up and the monitor displays nothing.
Explanation: A frequent source of computer problem is not computer related at all. Often power is interrupted and it is easy to fix these problems.
Check:
- Power connection from the wall plug to the PC.
- Make sure the wall plug is powered (e.g., check if a switch has turned it off)
- Make sure your home is powered. Check for fuse and circuit breakers. Make sure that power line damages haven't cut power to your home.
- Make sure your power strip is connected and is switched on.
